Membership

If you like to become a member, please follow below steps;

Once received, the application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors who will approve it and determine the types of the membership. Note that only after you become a member, you will be able to access the member area in the KPAI website.

Types of Membership

KPAI has four types of membership. The membership is approved and decided at a meeting of the Board of Directors.

  • Regular Member: A regular member shall approve of KPAI's objective, be a Korean-American resident in the United States who has a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and be currently working or have experience as a professional in the automotive industry.
  • Honorary Member: An honorary member shall be an individual elected by a resolution of the Board of Directors among those who have made significant contribution to the achievement of KPAI's objectives or to the advancement of technology in the automotive industry.
  • Special Member: A special member should be an individual elected by a resolution of the Board of Directors among those who have a special interest in KPAI's objectives and activities and the capability of contributing to such objectives and activities. The Board of Directors shall specify the duration of the period during which special members may participate as special members.
  • Student Member

Membership Fee

KPAI members have to pay membership fee annually. The membership fee is decided by an approval of Board of Directors. You can pay the membership to Treasurer or any KPAI staff members.

Benefits

There are lots of benefits being a KPAI member more than conneted to Korean-American automotive society and share social and technical experiences.

  • KPAI events: As a KPAI member, you are invited to a variety of annual KPAI events; KPAI Seminar, KPAI Annual Meeting, Year-End Party, Summer Picnic, KPAI Golf, KPAI Tennis, etc.
  • KPAI staff members are trying to expand the benefits in a various way. The detail information will be updated soon.
